Foley Freeze won big at Troy District!

The Foley Freeze competed at Troy District, March 31 –  April 1, winning its second competition of the 2016/2017 season. During this competition, they were also awarded the Motorola Quality Award. The Quality Award, presented for machine robustness in concept and fabrication, it the first time The Foley Freeze has won this award.

The team was the captain of the 7th seeded alliance and choose team 5460 – Strike Zone and team 818 – Steel Armadillos as their alliance partners. They upset the 2nd, 3rd and 1st seeded alliances to take the event. This win cemented their place at the Michigan State Championship at Saginaw Valley State University, April 13-15, 2017, where they were ranked 14th in the State.
